Two Charlotte spots named among 'Best Southern Restaurants in America'
Two Charlotte restaurants have been highlighted for their ability to dish up delectable Southern cuisine.
Dogwood Southern Table & Bar in SouthPark and The King's Kitchen in uptown are among OpenTable's "50 Best Southern Restaurants in America for 2018."
Dogwood is one of multiple restaurants in the Charlotte area operated by Jon and Kim Dressler. Located in Sharon Square, a mixed-use development at Sharon and Fairview roads,
it opened in the fall of 2014. The restaurant focuses on serving "elevated Southern comfort food" in an upscale but casual environment.
